Game Resources & Tools
Spiral Graphics
Spiral Graphics has a free tool called Genetica Viewer for creating seamless textures. I use this tool frequently when I am creating game resources. I used Genatica Viewer to create the tile set for my Eyes of the Dragon game.Spiral Graphics
The GIMP
The GIMP is GNU's Image Processor. While not as fully featured as Adobe's Photoshop it is an excellent program for image processing. I use it frequently when I am creating any type of graphics. The GIMP
Paint.NET
Paint.NET is another graphics package. It is very useful when creating game graphics. Coupled with The GIMP it makes an excellent tool for creating graphics.Paint.NET
